Fans will always want to write their fanfics.

The Bible is no different than other fictions, in that respect.

Since everyone knows that "gingers" (red-heads) have no soul, it must follow that they are descended from the monkeymen who never interbred with any of Adam and Eve's offspring. Which, of course, means that all monkeymen were red-heads.

The actual time frame can be move up or down depending on what version of the theory you want to work with. Great

Quote:During this time life on earth began sans creator, and evolved, and eventually created a monkeyman(who incidentally look IDENTICAL to the ones that god created in his own image)
Don't know what they looked like. what i am saying is God started the evolutionary process to yeild a genetic match to coinside with Man made in the image of God at the time of the fall. So when Adam and Eve left the garden they had genetically compatiable counterparts to interact with.

Quote:Your monkeyman is identical to A&E but dont have a soul
Yes as we are told that A&E were the only ones built with a soul.

Quote:A&E are very naughty and get kicked out of eden after 4 billion years
Great

Quote:Then what?
they had three sons and several daughters.. And:
Quote:They cross breed with monkeymen and te the world with new monkey who now have souls, and this is the human race as we now see it?
well up to the time of the Ark where monkey man and Demons got together to make hybrids and God wipe the earth clean save Noah (who was decended from Adam which means he had a soul) and his sons.. Then fastforward to now and everyone left has a soul.

Soul

Quote:What does your "soul" add that doesn't exist naturally?
The soul is the part of God that you have been made in the image of. It is the spiritual essence that indwells this corporeal form, destined for eternal life or eternal separation from God.

Quote:If evolution was already doing the job for God, why did he bother.
To clarify God put the wheels of evolution in motion, so proper breeding stock would be available to propagate soul bearing beings at the proper time.

Sure, so long as you aren't looking for a literal interpretation and you're willing to insert your own narrative, absolutely.

Quote:Don't know what they looked like. what i am saying is God started the evolutionary process to yeild a genetic match to coinside with Man made in the image of God at the time of the fall. So when Adam and Eve left the garden they had genetically compatiable counterparts to interact with.

You could find evidence if this event occurred. I've already mentioned that to you, you didn't rush off to find it. So, this one gets dismissed out of hand.

Quote: Yes as we are told that A&E were the only ones built with a soul.

Suppose I wasn't related to Adam and Eve, does that mean I don't have a soul? Since you're proposing that this soul is biologically conferrable, I'm going to have to go ahead and ask you to cough it up. Show me a soul, or this gets dismissed out of hand, yet again.

Quote: well up to the time of the Ark where monkey man and Demons got together to make hybrids and God wipe the earth clean save Noah (who was decended from Adam which means he had a soul) and his sons.. Then fastforward to now and everyone left has a soul.

Except that the events you just described never happened. Sorry to burst that bubble.

Maybe you should ask God. I can't say for sure but if it were me I'd want my cake and eat it too. Meaning If I were God i would want to wait a trillion years to have a buddy. I create one now and then set things in motion to carry on later.

Quote:To me it sounds like you're claiming God wasn't responsible for evolution but evolution+ where the non-perfect human out of nowhere blends into evolution.
No God set evolution to corrdinate with the fall of man, so man made in the image of God could carry on outside of the garden

Quote:That can only mean one thing--there should be evidence of when this species (i.e. those that came from the Garden) blended into the "mainstream" species. Got any fossils for us?
Big GrinSame species= same fossils

What the hell kind of creator are you peddling, Drinch? The hardware can evolve on its own but you don't get humanity from monkey stock without the jazzy soul app? That's just weird.

The bible tells us the woman carries 'seed of the flesh' and the Father the 'seed of the Spirit or Soul' That's why we can say Christ was 100% man and 100% God. for his Body was flesh, and his Soul or rather where his soul would have been was 100% Son of God.

I just thought I'd quote this for any of the Christians here that have asked why anyone would ever call the bible a fairy tale.

Not to sound mean here but isn't that what atheist wish for/want? to be souless monkey men with no accountablity outside of this life? Isn't that what the Theory of evolution provide for you? why should they be upset for something most of you spend you life time wanting? to cease to exist when you die.

Please show me what i have added. I simply took what was in the bible and lined it up with the existing fossil record which was perviously unaccounted for. For the theist we have to reconsile what the bible says with our everyday lives. nothing else has happened here, for nothing in the bible has been changed.

Not sure what that is. i'm guessing a bad thing.

Quote:Though, to oblige you, let's play this game.
So, there are two different human species.
One species. two ways comming into existance.

Quote: How does the genes of the 'garden variety' differ from the 'monkey'?
if they are to be compatiable why would they differ?

Quote: Is there anything else than the 'soul gene'?
Not according to Genesis.

Quote:And is it a recessive gene or a dominant one? If it's recessive, then it's likely that many humans are born without a soul. I thought that a soul was required to enter heaven, so this only proves that your god is highly unfair for not giving some individuals a fighting chance in the first place.
Am I missing something do you know of a study or something that ties souls to genes? It is my understanding that souls simply indewell bodies, and are tied to them so long as they live.

Quote: And what is the evolutionary benefit of having a soul?
Evidently none since monkey man developed without one.

His whole point is we would never have attained our specialness through evolution alone. He is pretty sure there is a gap here only God almighty can fill but I'll be a monkeyman's uncle if I can find it.

Seeming as humans living nearly 4.5 billion years together without producing any offspring features as part of his hypothesis, I doubt he'd have a problem with that.

which humans?

You forgot about the flood. It took out all but noah's family and they were all decendants of Adam (Had souls)

LOL, and you forgot that the flood never occurred. I'll keep reminding you until it sinks in.
