Why should anybody be upset, the process of evolution has worked on us all, and you know what as hard as I look for it I cannot find a soul, although I ate a very nice fillet of smoked halibut the other week.

I like this little addition of Drich's, because it shows us two things. One, that the word of god can be wholly inadequate, and two, that Drich has the hubris to believe he can add anything of value to it.
Next thing you know, he'll be giving Jesus adamantium claws and the ability to shoot laser beams out of his eyes.

Though, to oblige you, let's play this game. So, there are two different human species. How does the genes of the 'garden variety' differ from the 'monkey'? Is there anything else than the 'soul gene'? And is it a recessive gene or a dominant one? If it's recessive, then it's likely that many humans are born without a soul. I thought that a soul was required to enter heaven, so this only proves that your god is highly unfair for not giving some individuals a fighting chance in the first place. And what is the evolutionary benefit of having a soul? When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Seeming as humans living nearly 4.5 billion years together without producing any offspring features as part of his hypothesis, I doubt he'd have a problem with that.
