Then why are there so many guys shooting the one person.

Because they wanted to. Why are there six cops in body armor pointing guns at a deranged man with a knife of some sort? Why did they stay in a firing line instead of spreading out so they could tackle him from behind?

Because that's how your cops function. Why do 6 cops jump onto a guy who has already surrendered and on the floor? I have seen so many shows where they use unnecessary force.

Of course not, I didn't say it was a good justification. Doesn't change the fact that a cop/mayor/defense attorney can make the argument that a knife can easily kill an officer a dog or a passerby. Than skillfully say that a threatening gesture was made and voila ... instant bull shit get outta jail free card.



It happens all the time. All they need is just the tiniest bit of unlawful behavior and they can do whatever the fuck they want. I guarantee the most that will happen is that maybe a couple officers will get suspended and/or fired ... but I wouldn't hold my breath on even that. Rodney King anyone?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - An autopsy report released Monday lists the death of a man shot in the head while his hands were cuffed behind him in an Arkansas patrol car as a suicide.

The state crime lab report, signed by three medical examiners, said the muzzle of a gun was placed against the right side of 21-year-old Chavis Carter's head when it was fired. Jonesboro police released the report to The Associated Press and other news organizations under a Freedom of Information Act request.

So...a man who has been searched TWICE and has his hands cuffed behind him while sitting in a patrol car still manages to produce a gun and get the muzzle against the side of his head? I'd love to see someone....other than a professional contortionist...show me how that could be done. And how did these Keystone Kops manage to miss this "gun" twice while searching him?

But the victim is obviously black and you can bet your ass the cops were not so it will all be swept under the rug. Especially in Arkansas.

Convenient for the police that the 'released' video ends before police find the victim slumped over in a pool of blood. The article states later that the police just found him later in this condition. Nobody heard the gunshot?
