The cops told him to back off and Zimmerman persisted, Tibbs. Martin was not stalking him. He was hardly being "attacked." The cop wannabe may have bitten off more than he could chew but Zimmerman was the aggressor. This "stand your ground" shit is a smokescreen.

I never said Martin was stalking him. There were eyewitnesses though who saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, beating the crap out of him. Whilst I agree that Zimmerman's decision to follow Martin was ill-advised, it was not illegal to do so, and it certainly isn't an act of aggression to challenge someone. I should also point out that the cops told him no such thing; they said "Ok, we don't need you to do that." That is not an order in any form.

A medical report compiled by the family physician of Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a "closed fracture" of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.
