Previously successful analysis predicts Romney win
August 23, 2012 at 5:53 pm
Quote:A state-by-state analysis of the presidential race conducted by two University of Colorado professors predicts that Mitt Romney will be our next president. The analysis, released today, by political science professors Kenneth Bickers of CU-Boulder and Michael Berry of CU Denver, is based on economic and other factors within each of the 50 states. This same study has correctly predicted the winners of the last eight presidential elections, starting with the 1980 election won by Ronald Reagan.

Yes. Yes we are.
And if any liberal dare lose their mind and pull a gun, expect the butthurt Rethuglican squad to intervene.
Because clearly there have never been incidents of conservative terrorism within the US that did not have a body count. Nor has the frequency of conservative terrorism if it ever exists ever exceed liberal terrorism in the US.

That's what I think, too.

I hope Romney gets elected and it sets off a ton of direct action so we can get real change. (I know that likely won't happen. I'm just daydreaming.)

The only direct action Romney will set off will be making more money for the rich.

The analysis which was posted on here, sounds very plausible. I am predicting that Romney/Ryan will win a narrow electoral college win. Also the Republicans will win majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

I have no confidence after 2004 but I can only hope not.
A Romney win with Republican control of Congress will begin to look like an experiment of how much the poor and middle class in American can be bled and still have a functioning country and economy.

Not a concern of the super rich.
It becomes a concern eventually. You can pump people full of enough propaganda that they vote against their own interests and I'm amazed at how well it has worked for them so far. But how much can you really squeeze blood out of people before they eventually wise up as to who is squeezing them? Romney/Ryan will take the pain to a whole new high for the poor and middle class. Historians may look back at that in centuries to come as a case study of how far you can push a people before Fox propaganda no longer distracts them.
I'm not saying I'm right. Hey, 2004 taught me some hard lessons to not underestimate how effective propaganda can be. Maybe Lincoln was wrong and you really can fool all of the people all of the time. I'm just saying I don't want that put to the test because I don't see it ending well.
