It pisses me off, too, and I can easily see how it can be incredibly offensive. Just off the top of my head, I can think of two biggies:
1) If, by her own admission, 1 out of 60 guys is a rapist, why do the other 59 have to be treated like a rapist?
2) If we're considering the psychological impact culture has on people, what do you think the psychological impact is on a guy who's being told he's automatically a potential rapist?
Heck, let's dip into a third one
3) If feminism is about eliminating gender stereotypes and sexism, why aren't we looking at the gendered stereotype that says men are considered sex offenders until proven otherwise?

I think the point most of them try to bring up is that the world women live in (inside their heads, that is) is that because every man is a potential rapist (supposedly) and we can't tell who is who, all men should go out of their way to make us feel very comfortable. Or not talk to us. Basically don't sexualize us until we say so. The world doesn't work that way, and no one is going to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, because not everyone's comfort level is the same. But I agree with you whole-heartedly on #2. That's what bothers me the most.
The "world inside a woman's head" is why I brought up bad parenting. Parents fill their kids heads with all sorts of nonsense, and many of them don't adjust the "safety concerns" as their kids age, which is why we're in such a mess. It's embarrassing for most parents to discuss safety or sex with their kids, and that's ridiculous. Mothers tell their daughters that they have to worry about boys doing all sorts of things to them, and the media just conflates it all.

Do they not allow differing opinions? One poster named Katrina offered polite objection but didn't say all that could be said against this over-patronizing missive.
Kind of worrisome that even when you remove the old book of Jewish fairy tales that people still retain these patterns.

That's why I say that atheism is no guarantee of rationality.

...it just means you're not irrational about one thing.

One of the commentators sort of went into this (mostly for the "socially awkward guys"... let's face it, in this demographic, the odds go down to 1 in ~1000000) and put a link to this nice XKCD pic:

The reason she's being ignored is because he's afraid this is how she'll react:

For all I've seen if you say something remotely 'offensive' to them you are a tone policing mysogynist & ableist troll, whatever that means.
I've said it before, religion is just a mainstream excuse to let people do stupid things. What those idiots are incapable of doing is self assessement.

How would the atheism+ people react if I said it was okay to treat every Muslim as a potential terrorist?
