I thought Alien vs Predator was up there.
In terms of dollars spent per ounce of badness, I think Alien vs Predator probably comes out ahead.

The first AvP was terrible, but the second one was sort of okay.

Ah, thank you. Another potentially epic movie that they fucked up.

The second AvP was the worst.
They turned it into a fucking gorey teen horror.
I mean seriously, what the fuck?
You remember when Alien and Predator were all about what you couldn't see and the suspense as they closed in for the kill on hardened commandos, veteran cops, space marines and Ellen Ripley? They really fell far.

This makes me all sad inside. When I was a kid, my 2 boyhood heroes were Clint Eastwood and Kenny Dalglish... when he was actually playing for Liverpool. Yes, that's how old I am.
Eastwood... <snuffle> sometimes, you have to wish that the good people actually did die young. Jim Morrison would probably be an utter tool, by now.

In that respect, "only the good die young" is somewhat of a self-fufilling prophecy.

I watched the first 6 minutes or so, but I couldn't go on. It's not that I was disagreeing with the underlying points about unemployment, but his delivery was just appalling. I also find it terribly hypocritical that a guy with an estimated worth of $375 Million is bitching about the government not creating jobs.

From what I remember,he reached that point long before he died.
I really liked The Doors too,for years. Today ,I see just another bunch of pretentious wankers who took to many drugs.

What I find disguisting is ostentatious anti-intellectualism implicit in exploitation of an senile actor whose main relevent qualification is his portrayal of what is, effectively, a thug with a badge.
