17.8 lies per week

RE: 17.8 lies per week
Can't really say I'm suprised. I mean, I doubt hes lied more than any candidate ever.
I'm sure hes lied alot and I'm sure the statistics illustrate that but its alittle difficult to see them without scepticism that they've properly looked into the lies other candidates have told with any degree of accuracy considering how many candidates there have been and how far they'd have to go back to research all of them.

That's pretty good. The average human being lies roughly once every ten minutes, and we all know Mitt is nothing if not extremely average. Angel Cloud

I think they were just counting speeches & such. I'm sure the actual total is much, much higher.

Didn't Reagan deregulate the banks.

Quote:“This bill is the most important legislation for financial institutions in the last 50 years. It provides a long-term solution for troubled thrift institutions. ... All in all, I think we hit the jackpot.” So declared Ronald Reagan in 1982, as he signed the Garn-St. Germain Depository Institutions Act."

He was, as it happened, wrong about solving the problems of the thrifts. On the contrary, the bill turned the modest-sized troubles of savings-and-loan institutions into an utter catastrophe. But he was right about the legislation’s significance. And as for that jackpot — well, it finally came more than 25 years later, in the form of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

That was more under Clinton's Presidency when he signed the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (pushed by the GOP), which repealed key New Deal legislation.

As I can understand it...ALL governments are actually run by various "Departments" and have very little to do with which ever incumbent happens to hold the top job.

Which is silly really. Dunno

Those "departments" are headed by people that are hand-picked by people holding the "top job".

So it kinda does matter.

Also, the people handpicked to run those departments by the person holding the top job are the people who handpicked the person who holds the top job.

Mitt Romney tells 533 lies in 30 weeks.

At what point does a ® say, "You know, we might just have our self a really bad candidate this cycle."

So what if he's lying? Is that illegal? NO, So why does it matter at all that he's told 17.8 lies a week? who cares if it's 170 lies per week, what? do you think the average person knows or cares? congratulations you've found a random number to assign to the amount of lies. this assholes tells you with a straight face "facts aren't important" and you would THINK his supporters would care...... but they don't.... they fucking don't..........for the millionth time............. so what fucking point are you trying to make? what are you proving? "Oh he lied"!!!! well great..... is that illegal

NO!!!! end of discussion
