Besides, each site's policy is not down to the users, rather the creator of the site (unless the creator wants input from the users). Tarring atheists with this brush, "that we cage theists" is total bollocks. Not all atheists want to have separate areas, not all atheists care. And certainly christians are the same on their forums, however prior experience suggests to me that christians forums are far more likely to 'cage' people off than any atheist forum.
In fact if you'd like to make a list of all the atheist forums you've seen that do this, I'd be happy to return the favour with a list of christian sites that do the same.
Now what the fuck was your point again?

Yes, you didn't say that. However, it is assumed, because if christian forums did this as well, then atheist forums doing it wouldn't be as big of a deal. To complain that atheist forums 'cage' theists (maybe they do, but not here) when you don't deny that christian forums do they same thing, kind of renders it a moot point (assuming you were trying to claim the moral high ground for the theists).

And I have to say that it is possible to "enjoy" and have ''fun'' even while engaging with non-theists in the contest of ideas.
AtheismTM has so many Christopher Hitchens among its ranks and the thing I found myself doing a LOT with Mr Hitchens was trying not to laugh.
Approproate Christian restraint and decorum makes the rules of engagement a little bit asymmetric.
But strong atheists would be surprised how easy it is - from behind our whole armour of God - to smile and laugh every now and then at the (very creative) atheist mockery - especially when it misses its intended target.
