empire? i hate empire.
it`s a cool game and all, but no matter how good the mods are, the to small map ruins everything.

and almoust all nations consist of almoust only one province. take paris and france is destroyed, lisabon portugal is history, amsterdam and the dutch are gone. the game should be called end of empires.

Yeah - the France thing never made sense.

I figured it was that the game was designed by Brits.

If Amsterdam goes - Holland goes pretty much makes sense to me, though.

i`m someone who likes historic accuracy. the dutch and the portugese might have been small nations on european ground - put vast and feared empires globaly.
and i cant stand it when the maratha confederacy invades africa and destroyes the ottoman empire.
aswell as i cant stand poland conquering all of europe.
and in one campain i saw the usa conquering afghanistan in 1780
it would be a almoust perfect game if it had more provinces and a more realistic ai

Darth has done some great things with the AI. Once in a while you still get some oddball events but it is, after all, merely a game.

absolutly! darth is a genius, i dont think i would even play it anymore if it wasnt for darth

Absolutely. I played about 20 turns of Empire and went looking for mods.

Luckily, I went right for TWC and found DMUC right off the bat.
