Just a thought, limit total combined image height. People are less inclined to abuse straight text.

Not sure I get what you mean. If a signature is 10px high, it will only show 10px. In other words, the signature box grows as the height of the actual signature grows. This cuts out at 150px high, at which point any signatures higher than 150px will have a scroll bar.

Meaning so they can't get around a 150px height limit by stacking four 50 px graphics on top of one another.

I don't believe there is a reliable way to do that. Having scrollbars works just fine.
