Why I don't fear hell.
October 30, 2012 at 10:38 am
The reason I don't fear Hell is because Heaven is in fact even hotter than hell. Don't believe me.
I would rather be in the cooler hell, how about you?

Know more about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you' - Neil deGrasse Tyson

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm afraid I have to say that there's a tiny flaw with the Stefan–Boltzmann formula up there... It assumes that the full spectrum of radiation from the sun hits and is absorbed by heaven.
Well, the verse only mentions light, so one could argue that only the visible part of the EM spectrum exists in heaven and, thus, we would have to cut a good portion of the energy that falls upon that place.

When you're dead, you're dead.
Temperature is not a cause for concern in the eternal void of oblivion.

Simply saying "I don't fear Hell because the place is fictional" would have worked but would have also been less entertaining. Kudos.
