Seems to me the votes they got, they got because of their religious conservative views. Yeah, we don't like them, but look at all those who DO!
If they look at why Obama won, they will realize they will need to specifically drop their war on women (abortion/birth control), LBGT community, and gain more minority votes with better stances on immigration and welfare. They can do all that and keep pushing the other religious agenda stuff, though, and I bet the will.
I wonder how or even if this loss will affect the tea party? Will it makerepugs realize how the tea party is hurting them, or will the react by becoming MORe extreme??
A quick perusal of any conservative message board tells me they will actually become more extreme. The vast majority of them think Mitt was not a "true Conservative"TM, they routinely called him "Moderate Mitt" and a "Liberal republican" if you can believe that.
They live in an alternate universe, and this loss won't fix their retarded thinking. It's likely to make it worse.
But on a bright note, yaya for Obama! And Gay marriage! And 2 states decriminalizing pot!! The progressive movement is still progressing, despite attempts to stop it. Go us!!1
