I would concur with this while offering a slightly different angle by way of illustration, which isn't original to me but I'll claim title to it if I can get away with it (a fundamental part of which involves me killing everyone who just read that little confession, I'm afraid). Anyway, the question that I have seen posed goes something like: why is the Universe composed of matter instead of antimatter? To which the answer came back: if it was made of antimatter, we'd simply call it matter. I know it doesn't really add much to the topic at hand but since the question reminded me of it, I thought - no doubt totally incorrectly - it might be an interesting little anecdote.
