The roles of men and women in Islam are not actually clearly defined in the Quran itself. That's why different Muslims see women's roles in different ways.
Some Muslims are conservative, others are liberal, and others fall somewhere between, although all claim that their views are based on Islam. The Muslims of a more traditional (conservative) position believe that women’s leadership roles in Muslim societies should be restricted while, on the other hand, the Muslims of a liberal position say that the conservative position has no basis in Islam. And, in fact, Muslim women have held high positions in the office and they have been even prime ministers and heads of state in some of the key Muslim nations such as Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey, for example.
Maybe your god expected more out of muslims, didn't figure he'd have to spell that one out?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
So Moses was about to descend the mountain with god's sacred rules when he had a thought. He turned his head around, keeping his balance as to not drop a tablet, and asked "Let me get this straight, the Arabs get all the oil and we have to cut the ends off of 'what'?!?"
I know I wouldn't mind 'submitting' myself to a good husband...
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I'll keep this "good husband"s wife busy while you're submitting. Teamwork OP - nerf teamwork!
