Why don't Republicans go after the Atheist vote?

That's because they aren't "out there" campaigning for our vote. But they're also not out there being hostile towards us like your boys are. Big fuckin' difference. If you can't understand that, you're not even trying. I don't like that, but I understood the political motivation behind it. Sadly, there are a lot of Americans who vote the superstition ticket. If the Democratic Party lacks the backbone to embrace us, that's still leagues better than the party which actively despises us and attempts to force their deluded beliefs on us. No, it isn't.
When the day comes that your republicunt pals toss Billy Fucking Graham under the bus maybe I'll pay attention to you and your bullshit. No. Keeping the American Taliban out of power makes being thrown under the bus well worth it. It is the sad reality of the day that even Democrats have to pay lip service to the sky terrorist in order to keep the rightwing nuts from using it against them. Thankfully, it won't be like that forever. If the Republicans had realized that you evangelicals are too few and too much of a liability, they would not have sacrificed larger voting blocs. Instead, now that toxic minority controls a GOP which is plummeting into inevitable irrelevance.

Is this all you've got to go on? You keep repeating this as it's your only example of Democrats dissing athiests. And as you can tell, not many of us had our feelings hurt by the whole situation in the first place. You seem more bothered by it than us. |
