EDIT: I've seen this piece before, I swear it. I won't look it up until someone guesses what it's made from. I've seen this before, though, in one of my art history classes.

I was wondering too, because it looks like a 1888 picture of Billy the Kid to me...but that could be the trick ofcourse?

I believe it is the artist as a child.

It looks familiar to me even and I am a noob with art. It is famous.
