Serious question: Conventional war can smash countries, nukes can smash all life on earth. Easy choice which I'd take.
Less serious: No real preference. I find navels to be unattractive either way.

Serious question: Death by immolation or by drowning?
Less so: Would you prefer to be extremely attractive with non-functioning genitalia, or extremely ugly with fully-working parts?

It partly depends on which arm it would be. Having lost nine of my ten fingers, I'm no longer able to write, although I'm able to manage many other feats with the one finger on my non-dominant hand. I would hate to lose a measure of mobility, but our big brains are highly geared towards servicing dexterous hands.
