Well here is a little intro to myself. My name is Trenton M. Harland and I am 15 yrs. old. Just about the only “known,” Atheist in the family, and when debate comes into play (it does a lotSmile I am on thin end of the rope. My hobbies are fish keeping, gaming (mainly call of duty 4 PC), computers, debating (just about anything), and just finding ways that the main stream news tries to miss with peoples heads.

I became an Atheist around age 12. The reason being that in one of my classes (7th grade) the teacher showed religious based film (something about some Christian school and football) and had us wright a paper, and on that paper I turned the table and wrote a huge paper of all the flaws and why I thought the film should be banned from school grounds. When my grandma got mad about it she called me an Atheist and I just said “OK!”

As far as political views go I am a hybrid on that. Think that the whole “War on Terror,” is a strike to turn the middle east into a mini America (Christianity, propaganda, gossip shows, etc...)

Welcome to the forums,

I would be careful not to write-off all media just because some of it is biased. I would be equally careful accepting everything from alternative news sources, whatever they may be. I simply avoid all news because it depresses me, seriously.

I prefer to stick to learning how economic games work so I can build my own wealth and then I will have some power to alter the fortunes of at least a few people in my immediate vicinity, not the least of which are the merchants that sell me stuff I want.

The sooner that everyone realizes that politics is a spectrum of beliefs and moves away from the false dilemma that is posited by our political system, the better. Well, in America at least, I don't know much about other political systems. I know too many people who just vote their party because it is so much easier than actually thinking.
