The problem is that being a police officer attracts a certain kind of person who has a bully mentality. They can hit you but you can't hit back, that is the dream of every bully and that's the type of person who is attracted to the field. That's why the police are such shitty people. They take joy in making other people's lives miserable and when you actually need them they don't do shit. These cowardly fuckers would shit themselves if they were ever actually in a dangerous situation.

There's also the problem that police dno't have much in the way of accountability. There's a story that's making the rounds on trans circles over the past couple of days. It's about a drunk police officer who, because he was rejected when he 'propositioned' a trans woman, shot a car with her and some of her friends in it. Know what the court did? They gave him time served. No prison time, when had anyone else done this, they probably would have spent years behind bars. http://www.washingtonblade.com/2013/01/1...ting-case/

That's not good but if you have time to view the video all the way through this is the worst that can happen to anyone. When one cop hit this guy he broke his hand and they charged the victim (Robert Leone) with assault, He has been in prison for a few years now for no reason, just because these bastards went crazy that night not to mention their superiors that tried to hide all of this. Police are given this authority over people and it is no shock that many abuse it. They are given a badge and are told that they are the law, they have the power to punish anybody and when given this power it is in our nature to use it and enjoy it. When you are being paid to punish people, you must switch off your emotions and think in somewhat of a black and white context...criminals are bad and there is no compromise for people commiting crimes. We must remember it is not all police that are like this and they are not bad people for their actions. As humans we just have a nature of wanting authority and enjoying power.
Don't forget the brainwashing the preceding generations gave us to "trust" the police.
In any case, our culture values using the police as a weapon to "punish" wrong doers. Before justice can be done, the police must suffer their pensions being fined for ill conduct on part of their members. Judges must be publicly excoriated for their deference to police matters to the point of allowing criminal conduct a pass on the part of the police. But most of all, US culture must shift from their overly servile view of police as both weapon and suppressor to something else. Slave to the Patriarchy no more

A girl I used to work with went on holiday to mexico where she was held up at gun point by two policemen. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. |
