I have a feeling I'm outnumbered. I mean, just look around. I was attracted to the name of the forum and the intelligent-looking header. Talk about mis-leading. And I did try to start a thread but it was ignored. People are a lot more interested in talking about who they want to fuck, marry or kill. WTF? And what's with all the GIANT photos and links??
This is meant as constructive criticism btw, but I'm pretty sure it will fuck everyone off. Can't go against the mob.

In that case it's a good thing you're here to draw attention to these shortcomings, especially as membership is purely voluntary. Constructive suggestions can only be a good thing.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Can you point to some giant photos? We have [imgfit] tags which can be used to make large images fit the page nicely, or [hide] tags to make them hide until someone clicks on them. Not sure what you mean by giant links though?
Edit: Oh yeah, and the reason your thread was ignored is because there was already a thread discussing that subject, and it was much larger and more popular. There is no reason to create a new thread for something that is already being discussed, unless discussion in that thread has veered off-topic, which I don't believe it had in your case.

Firstly, about your thread. If you want to I can merge it with the existing A+ thread, you are not alone in your opinions and the discussion can continue from there. Secondly, try to start more than one thread, unfortunately not all topics do interest all members. Thirdly, what do you want to talk about? Remember that many of us have been on here for long, we have exhausted many of the 'serious' topics. That's why it's so great to get new members, because usually it is they who bring new topics to be discussed. We are a tight knit group of friends here, and you're more than welcome to join us in times of seriousness and silliness. There's nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Apparently we are not pleasant enough for that user. Check the profile.
But yeah Kay, that comment was on the mark.

I have a feeling it would be a waste of effort. I've seen a couple of attempts but they were largely ignored. This is more like a chatroom. Damn and blast Richard Dawkins for shutting down his forums, the best in the world!
Well, threads where people whine are plentiful. You'll fit right in there.

Maybe if you stop using pathetic arguments from incredulity (I don't understand, therefore it can't be): I'll stop responding with laughter to them.

Have you considered that what you think to be intelligent conversation is largely ignored because.. it isn't?

Don't look at me, now.
Because I'm totally not behind this one. Oh, and say hi to the stars again

Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
