No, but atheists are into science, not into magic, and magic is a staple of fantasy, though not absolutely required.

Wrong, I like magic. I just don't think it's real. I love fantasy novels. But if you're looking for a more scientific form of magic, I suggest Patrick Rothfuss.

Me too, but I can't say as I've ever read an especially atheist fantasy novel. What exactly is it? Wizards going around casting spells but reminding people they don't believe in gods?

Atheism simply means you don't believe in a divine being. You could believe in manipulable forces through which magic is enacted.

This is kind of how it is in The Dresden Files. I really enjoy the way magic is explained there. Special jokes for DnD players, too. Lol
