I'm not sure what's more badass about those beasties - the huge sodoff horns on their heads, or the mean expressions on their faces that say they know exactly where those horns are going.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

People, this thread has nothing to do with unicorns. I was making a comparison to believing in things that have no evidence of existence. Catfish tried to change his statement by saying that he keeps an open mind for all possible future evidence. That is extremely misleading, as that is NOT what he said.

Here is the difference. Catfish believes in the christian god and various parts of the Bible based on evidence that has not yet been uncovered. Does everybody see what he said? He's not keeping the god of the bible a remote possibility based on evidence he doesn't have. No no. He ALREADY believes in the god of the bible and the holy scriptures based on this missing evidence.

THAT is the difference. Drop the unicorn thing ... it was his way of avoiding what he said which is: Evidence doesn't actually have to be presented in order to be considered evidence.

It's utter stupidity.

No, I have my "proof" of God, I was born with it.

The difference between an atheist and myself is that I allow for 1 more possibility than they do.
.

As for the unicorn example, think deeper next time.

An arbitrary decision unless you assume the others are real just in case.

think deeper next time? How was it not a perfect analogy?

No proof of unicorns ... No proof of god.
Still believe in unicorns ... Still believe in god.

Do sheep not understand simple analogies?? That aside, I thank you for admitting your faith has no evidence. That is honesty and it's appreciated.

Lol???

No proof of unicorns? - ok...

As for my "faith", I have my proof, it's none of your fucking business what I consider proof. I'm not defending my faith, remember?

All this to deflect from a logical fallacy that was espoused as logical?
