No i am to cause mischief because i already understand these why people believe in the passages and hope that someone will not blind my insight with their infallible phrases to test one true intentions! How genius!.........or i could really be interested if anyone has any answer to this understanding in hope that people will clarify or give me a deep insight that may give me a understanding beyond the obvious....that people believe a bible based on nonsense and if people disagree they are "fools". right.........there you go again ignoring that ability to reason

Now that introductions are over, allow me to phrase a few questions.

1st, I don't trust the Bible, so be prepared to defend your position of why you think I should.
2nd, I'm a 10th degree blackbelt in cherrypicking, so be ready for anything.
3rd I'm a Christian and you, nor anyone else can prove otherwise.

You mentioned "infallible phrases"... WTF did you mean by that? Are you implying the Bible is infallible? If so, what logical reason do have to believe that? Your parents told you? Some stranger told you?

Forgive me for derailing yet another thread, but I hope this will only be a brief detour.
Cat, if no one can prove that you are not a christian, then, can you explain in what way are you a christian?

Ummm, I follow the teachings of Yeshua perhaps?

There isn't scriptual "proof" that I must believe all of that pagan crap they added after he died.
.

Yeshua explained in several places, who makes it to "heaven" and who should be considered "neighbors"...

Very good.... which teachings?
Only everything the bible claims was uttered by J.C.? Or J.C. is not the Yeshua you mentioned?

And I know where you're going with this... You make the judgement call on that, not me...

The "portrait" of JC is not the same as Yeshua, I'm sure of that. Here's some unsolicited scripture 4 ya!

John 5:43
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

cat: i love how you say introductions are over and then make statements about yourself. try to reverse those next time. second "infallible phrases" was a statement to imply irony. read thread mabye you will catch on. third just talking to religious nutjobs has taught me to be ready for anything seeing as logic and reason tends to drift from their mental grasp on things. oh and you`re right that decision is all your just as i find your decision making skills seem to be batshit crazy is mine.

So I'm the one who decides what in the bible you consider to be Yeshua and what's not?
Doesn't make much sense...

It's clear there are some parts where you accept J.C.'s quotes as Yeshua's.... and some parts where you don't.. hence your sig and cherrypickers.

I was just trying to make it clear what parts are those. I'm a biblical ignorant, I don't want to make you pay attention to some detail you're already not cherrypicking. I just want to know which ones you are cherrypicking....

Oh? So if someone punches you in the mouth you say "take another swing?"

Somehow, I doubt it.

Wow. I. Did. Not. Expect. Such. A. Response. What. Can. I. Say. Or. Do. Now...

How, about let me know when you are ready to, not only examine what others believe, but what you believe as well. Otherwise nothing I can say or do will mean anything to you. That's the thing about a closed mind, nothing is allowed in. So even if you are asking questions it does not mean you want an answer. Closed minded people just look to argue.

Your projected response: "nut-huh, I was asking a legit question, and you are just a stupid head for not taking me seriously."
