I enjoy the mind control too. The exposure of aspects of peoples personalities you wouldn't otherwise see is great. IMO.

The original plan was to put 6 people in a house, shielded from the outside world, and just let them sit there for 6 months and see what happens. After 2 months the ratings dwindled because nothing was happening and it makes for boring tv. Then they started introducing some of these mindcontrol games and the ratings shot up again (that and the first love affair started and there was a chance of seeing sex live on TV Wink ).

Then the whole voting was commercialized, and Endemol had a hit on its hands.

Love-making was titillating....what the makers really wanted was a live murder or suicide. I never watched after the first couple of screenings, so did I miss out on death?? Hope so.

I've often thought that the only way I'd watch BB is if they put the whole bunch of them in there with knives and garotting cords and so on and let them kill each other ... though I'm not so big into horror it would be a genuine pleasure to see the useless fucks kill each other (especially if the *winner* and producers were treated to a particularly nasty series of surprise deaths).
