The pope is leaving office.
From what I know so far, he is going to resign by the end of this month, I dont know the reason for his resignation yet, and he is the second pope in history to resign.
But in the end this will probably not change anything about backward catholic policy.
And although today most catholics live in the south american continent and on the african continent, I find it very unlikely that a south american or african will become the next pope.
