While technically true.... the use of "decades" here seems a bit short.
I would have used centuries

Oops. Sometimes me iinglish is just sooo good Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

It seems like you want definite refutations. Ok, here you go:

It isn't all based on proofs but on something inside your heart (Islam calls it Fitra or instinct)

You're assuming our emotions are accurate. Prove it.

An example of them being misleading is when we are certain we will win money at the casino. There's that gut feeling of "I just know I'll come out with more money".

Quote:According to Islam all people are born Muslims

According to Star Wars, Darth Vader is Luke's father. So what? Both are a true statement but neither can be said to reflect "reality" as we know it until the sources are proven as being a true reflection of reality. On one hand we have a movie which is fictional and on the other... well, that's for you to show me.

Quote:Practicing Islam will increase the faith in your heart
Because when you follow God's commands (even without believing); God will start to like you and get you closer to him

I've been discussing with Drich about the Christian equivalent of this. We have two propositions that say the same thing about different gods. You need more to prove yourself than merely state something written in the Qu'ran.

Quote:That is why most people in countries that was occupied by Muslim converted to Islam

The whole of South America is mostly Catholic because of the people who settled down. So what?

Claims as simple as these hold no weight to them because you're assuming too many things. Prove to me first that the Qu'ran is the true Holy book out of all of them.

This thread is not about proofs!

I think I already made my points

You will have a proof that you cannot refute

Huh? Before you said that if I couldn't refute your proof wild assertion, then I have to accept Islam. I have refuted you thus far, and now you tell me that's not what you're after?!

This is a new apologetic trick I hadn't encountered before...

Ah, "moving the goalposts"... that's what I was looking for.

I can't make up my mind which religion to follow. The Ashtar Command is a New Age religion with starships. It sounds very modern and sci-fi.

Quote:The Ashtar Command is an etheric group of extraterrestrials, angels and lightbeings and millions of "starships" working as coordinators of the activities of the spacefleet over the western hemisphere. Under the spiritual guidance of Sananda (the Most Radiant One), the ascended master who walked the Earth incarnated as Jesus the Christ, Ashtar, the commander of the galactic fleet and representative for the Universal Council of the Confederation of Planets, is currently engaged in Earth's ascension-process.

There are 144,000 lightworkers called Eagles connected to the Command. That is the minimum of souls required for the ascension process. These Eagles are a group of souls who don`t identify with a special planet. They know they are one with all, and that they are Christ (fundamental to any discussion of New Age Christology is the recognition that New Agers distinguish between Jesus, a mere human vessel, and the Christ consciousness (variously defined, but always divine, and often a cosmic, impersonal entity)).

On the other hand, I find Wicca rather appealing. Then there's Spiritualism which might be a good bet because there's a Spiritualist Church not far from where I live.
