Hi. One way that could help is to download Stellarium here:

http://www.stellarium.org/

It's free, and you can set it up to show the sky in your local area. It should help you find the constellations, and the location of the comet. Look for it in the west-southwest after sunset.

By the way, for all you northern hemispherians, Comet Panstarrs is now a naked eye object and can be seen very close to the horizon after sunset in the west.

I could see it, if the storms and wind cooled down, still, lightning bolts are awesome to watch.
