I often watch Tf00t's videos; recently I read some bad stuff about him. Though it doesn't nullify any of what he says, it sucks to hear bad things about people you like.
I found myself re-assembling my brainmatter a few days ago after a... 'discussion' with somebody about Atheists questioning religious people, and religious people not being allowed to question Religion. That was a moment when I felt like I was going to have a brain aneurysm.
How do you feel about The Amazing Atheist?

Myself, I find many of his videos interesting and enjoyable, often hilarious, but like everyone else he sometimes expresses views that I don't entirely share. Whatever he may be like as a person doesn't necessarily colour what I think of what he says. Same as with TF00t. To me that's one of the strengths of being a freethinker; you're not tied to accepting or rejecting someone wholesale based solely on what sort of person they are or made out to be.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I share the same view, Stimbo. A lot of people I know don't watch his videos because they find his language offensive and it makes them uncomfortable.

I had never listened to this amazing atheist... and... I still haven't heard much more than one minute.
It's like stimbo says: think for yourself, grab the good out of what others say, and ignore the bad.
