Well, D&D alignments reveal something about politics as well, for example, the Chaotic/Lawful dichotomy is an axis of authoritarianism.

And the Good/Evil dichotomy is an axis of economic policies.

I kid.

Mostly.

I've wanted to play D&D for years, and there's a lot which interests me, but there's so much of it that it's overwhelming and I have no idea where to start. Nor do I really know anyone who's into it. That's why I spent over a hundred bucks on Magic: The Gathering cards as a teenager on the basis of the art being pretty and the backstory being interesting.

I'm largely apolitical these days. I still vote, though - I rarely get involved in anything resembling activism these days. Why? For much the same reason that you see movements like Occupy. Outrage. Thing is, outrage raises my blood pressure and causes bad things to happen, and as an individual peon voice in this country doesn't mean a goddamn thing, I find I happier and healthier as an observer.

As for my core beliefs, I value individual liberty and empathy and compassion for my fellow man, in balance. Government should first and foremost be concerned with the welfare and liberty of individual common persons. My personal viewpoint borrows from civil libertarians, a bit from socialism and elsewhere.

Oh yes. I really wish he'd disappear into obscurity because it's getting to where looking at my own name makes me reflexively ill.

Schmuck or shmuck in American English is a pejorative meaning an obnoxious, contemptible or detestable person, or one who is stupid or foolish. The word entered English from Yiddish, where it has similar pejorative meanings, but its original meaning in Yiddish is penis.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

It's a polite way of saying "Asshole" (or any other impolite pejorative of your choice).

I am a socialist who supports the second amendment of the United States Constitution, while being opposed a abortion post-first-trimester abortion, a bitter hated of the death penalty, alongside the ideas that religion and business should have no influence within the realm of politics.
