Denies? That almost seems to imply the denial is against something that obviously exists when that is not so? You also seem to be in some way theistic but I'll wait for you to confirm or deny that.
An atheist is someone who does not believe in deity (all of which are supernatural because there's never any evidence for them) ... others have varying slants on it but to my mind that means anyone who is not a theist. Although not specifically atheism, I deny the supernatural as well (all of it) ... I simply don't accept that anything outside of the natural universe exists and will continue in that stance until such point as someone demonstrates something that does or has an affect it has upon our universe. IOW until someone demonstrates a compelling reason to believe in such garbage I don't.
