You guys are so bigoted and blinded it's funny.
I'll refer you to the video posted in the OP from 28:30 till about 32:00 where the kid describes the context of "abomination". Yes, I could have informed you of that. I have seen the video and studied the subject. However, I figured you would find some way to discount the logic that Old Testament Levitical laws are not practiced by Christians for the simple reason that they are primarily in place for the Israelites, the Jews. That is why the Christians are fond of ignoring the other abominable laws while thinking it is perfectly okay to refer to simply one verse to condemn homosexuality.

WTF people. How fucking hard is it to add qualifiers to "Christians"? You know, "some", "most", "a few", "all" ect.?
.
Not hard at all:
'Some' Christians are polite. 'Most' Christians have not read the entire Bible. 'A few' Christians are an embarrasment to the human race. 'All' Christians should live according to their beliefs and not attempt to force their special rules for universal engagement on non-Christians. (March 26, 2013 at 10:01 am)catfish Wrote: WTF people. Dude, the lack of blanket generalizations is one of the things that differentiates us nonbelievers from some believers. I think it's pretty safe for you to assume that we understand not all christians believe the same thing- there's thousands of denominations of that church, after all- so maybe it's time to start addressing arguments rather than latching onto the lack of a word, non?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And atheists misrepresent Christian positions, build strawmen, spew falsehoods and sometimes outright lies.
A fucking abomination I tell ya!
Hey, you wanna continue that abomination argument? I dunno, I'd be more interested in discussing that than being reminded of the uniqueness of human experience. I mean... it was what the thread was made to discuss.
