I really must watch some of his films so I have a valid opinion on him.

It's not so much what he says, but the way he brings his message in a quasi-objective tone while being anything but objective about the topic is something I do not like.

This radical left winger loves Michael Moore
And really does anyone take his movies completely seriously? I mean as the "gospel" truth? Like Bill Maher, it's entertainment baby.

Bill Maher is actually intelligent and funny. He made really great points in his movie about religion. There is a big difference between the two.

It's all good stuff, folks, deciding whether you like/dislike the messenger...but what about the message.
What about 1% of the population controlling 95% of the wealth?
Is that not more worthy of debate?
A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

Bozo,
That sounds about right. I want to join that 1%.
The game has rules that I plan to learn and if, after knowing the rules and playing the game, I am not one of the 1%; then and only then will I declare the game unfair.
Statistics is just a measure of reality, the premise that resources are not "fairly" distributed requires additional evidence or a redefinition of the word fair to mean, "Equal portions regardless of work done."

Hate to rain on your parade Rhizo, but you won't make the 1%, even if you know the rules backwards, sideways anyways.
Capitalism = a few winners and very many more losers. It's not rocket science.

Bozo,
Raw assertions proove nothing. Here watch this, "Socialism, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." I'm sure that did as much for changing YOUR mind as your assertion did for changing mine. So your "rain" is imaginary and my parade is going quite strong! When the illuminati admit me as one of their members I will direct the aliens to visit you and explain economics, unless god has a problem with that. Capitalism is teh roxorz!
Oh, and I do plan on watching the film. I know it will be the same pap that Mr. Moore is famous for, but it might give me some leads to find real information. I dig his films, Bowling for Columbine was hilarious!
