I am a hybrid when it comes to politics.
I'm not. I share some views in the same way I share some views with socialists, democrats, and republicans. Which is why I consider myself an Independent, which is the third party in America, though nowhere near as strong as Republican and Democrats, but it gets more notice than the green party, libertarian, etc...

The problem I have is that even the "best" forms of government I personally have problems with. And I just wouldn't want to commit to anything, yet (at least)...

I swung from left to right to left when I started getting into politics. Both sides have good arguments for different things. Then earlier this year I was introduced to Libertarianism and everything fitted into place perfectly, combining the social left with the economic right, always focussing on personal liberty and freedom.

That depends on what type of Libertarian you ask:
Quote:Libertarianism is a term adopted by a broad spectrum of political philosophies which advocate the maximization of individual liberty and the minimization or even abolition of the state. Libertarians embrace viewpoints across that spectrum, ranging from pro-property to anti-property, from minarchist to openly anarchist.I advocate maximization of individual liberty, minimization of the state (not abolition). I'm pro-property, pro-healthcare (public healthcare), pro-free-speech, anti-protectionist... Me neither. There are some libertarian things I agree with, but I don't see enough in that description that would make me think I fit that label.
