Locked in the dogma

RE: Locked in the dogma
1) Thank you for ameliorating your post. However, my concern was that people not find it offensive, as opposed to scary, and you won't win many friends by adopting a condescending tone.

2) [a] There are no conclusions in my commentary, merely observations on your assertions.

[b] What the fuck is "intuitional science"?

3) Yes. Minimalist does not simply "swear" at people, he also brings many points of substance and value to discussions. Swearing, by itself, is not considered a personal attack. Still, if you find his manner and his words offensive, you are invited to report his posts through the proper channels, where they will receive all the consideration they are deemed to deserve.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm pretty confident that you don't need to worry about your brain being turned to shit. So experiment away!

I don't want to be in a state of mind (all the time, at least) which does not reflect reality. The real world presents reasons to worry. Pretending that none exist is silly.

Which one? On what basis do you come to the conclusion that there is one capital-G "God" rather than many or none?

Which just happens to be your preferred direction, am I right?

With the sole exception of your dogma-enclosure. That's the right one. Of course.

Physical-material reality?
Sure, that is a big reality but how do you know that that is the only reality?
You know the canary syndrome?
One day the owner felt very sorry for the poor canary always lock in the cage so one day he said to the poor canary..............my dear friend i am going to give you the freedom so you can fly and live in tune with mother nature.
The canary kept silent for a while and then reply............no, i do not want to live outside the cage because i do not know how to fly anymore, because i would not be able to collect enough food and because i am afraid of predators.
The owner then reply...........ok, then i will leave the cage open so in the meanwhile you can leave for short time, learn again how to fly and come back here when you are hungry..............no, no reply the canary, i am too afraid of everything and then i am happy inside here.

The same syndrome affect also so many human being unfortunately.
They are so attached to this material-physical world that they do not want even to consider that there is a better way to live and prosper.

Come to the edge he said..... No no no they cried.

Come to the edge he said...... No no no they cried, we are afraid.

Come to the edge he said...... So they came to the edge,

He pushed them off....... and they flew.

So essentially enrico you are telling us that you are content in your cage and will not venture and opinion, or an exploration of an alternative let alone leave your safe little cage to do so?

And YOU have the temerity to opine that atheists are headed in the wrong direction?

Sometime it may work.
Other time they may crash on the ground and brake all their bones so is better go in stages just to make sure.
Have you ever heard the term ATROPHY?
When a bird or a anyone else is not using something (any part of the body or even mind) then these parts are not able to work as they should straight away that is why the change should be made in stages.

So you are saying you are atrophied? Your mind is dead because of your religious dogma?

So just what is your argument? That you still want to be fed baby food? ALL your information in pezzi minute? Because your brain is so unaccustomed to thinking for it's self?

Have you ever heard of Google? Try it...spend days seeking out the information you are looking for... it's ALL there.

And make up your own mind. Better still ...READ the bible from cover to cover and appraise it as a novel..... I think by about Kings you will be on your way to being an atheist.

Most of all think for yourself.
