Haveing gone through a compulsory basic training { no bell to ring } in a country which invented gorilla warfare, I could strip and reassemble my R4 without looking at it, I knew my rifle like a body part, you would sleep with it, it would go to the toilet with you, you would eat with it, I would be caked in mud and grime, the scabs on my knees and elbows would be septic and oozing puss, but my rifle would be spotless, if caught even, with ones back to it, that trainee would be severely chastised, a favoured method was to force water down the throat, whilst beating and forceing the trainee to star jump, water would be continualy forced in. until vomiting, this would go on and on, until the trainee was mentally and physically broken, this being a favoured method of punishment was by no means the worst, but thats another subject !
