Your problem is ordaining everything that comes out your mouth as truth, without bothering to verify it in the least. And then you chastise those around you for not showing the same lack of discernment that you wear like a badge of honor.

I'd also like to add that absolutely nothing that GC writes seems to come from his own understanding. He's conformed his mind to a book and says that it's the truth. Some people are too arrogant to step back from themselves and ask, "WTF am I doing all of this for and why?"

I have never been able to decide which is more contemptible: blind faith accompanied by a refusal to even consider contrary claims, or the dishonest contortions required to make faith fit the observable facts. The former is ignorance, while the latter is deception, by attempting to appear reasonable all while operating under a foregone conclusion. Maybe someone can help me figure out which of these things I like less.
