It seems pretty well established that he in fact, does not lift.

Yes, but only when he does. This might appear to be a contradiction, however lifting and not lifting simultaneously is merely human nature.

Feeling persecuted yet daz? Not a particularly nice feeling, is it? Consider this an object lesson on why adults shouldn't bully each other.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

It is a fact...in that it is not a fact.

I still contend you don't get how humans behave, since as cited 7 billion already do.

lol.. I sound like a sociopath?

lol..

OK, why then do most people in my generation cite that anything goes and nothing is truly moral or immoral?

why do many such people claim that one only lives by his or her personal morality?

Isn't this like singling out 10 drunk persons lying in a street, and arresting only one on an arbitrary basis?

I guess every generation has its platitudes.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

If by "most people" you mean "you", have fun with that, otherwise you'll need to do more than pop off at the mouth.

Quote:why do many such people claim that one only lives by his or her personal morality?
Are you (or the ubiquitous they) living off of someone else's morality? How did you (or the ubiquitous they) manage to escape your own heads, firstly, and then how did you manage to bore into the head of this other person to live by their morality - and if any of this seems absurd to you...that's because it is...and precisely why we have no choice but to live our lives by our own "personal morality".

Sure, just like it, except that afaik - no one here is a cop, there aren't ten drunks, no streets exist on this forum- and no one's being arrested, for any reason..arbitrary or otherwise.

I'd like to know how you know so much about these "most people" of your generation. Personally I've never even met the merest fraction of people pertaining to any generation, never mind been privy to what they think.
