Where? LOL. Find me someplace that sells chicken under 50cents a pound and my kids won't have to eat shitty cardboard nuggets anymore.

Again, fast food isn't killing anyone - inactivity. Some of the greasiest, most unhealthy shit I eat takes a looong time to cook. The world would be a shittier place without that food. That's my opinion.

As always, we eat what we can-where we find it. Paleolithic hominids weren't health nuts - probably would have shit themselves over a can of cheese whizz.

Ignorant fucks would have probably worshiped it.

The thought crossed my mind, but I think they'd probably eat it, even if they understood how powerful a trinket it could be (among their peers)...I really do think they;d just eat it. I would.

Probably spend the rest of their lives telling tall tales about how it could still make magic cheese - if only people believed enough.

Ah, I would not say that this is universally true, although it can generally be so, depending on what you're selecting.

If it were possible to compare apples to apples, it might be true, but I'm not sure that it's possible. Personally, I almost always cook for just myself, occasionally for two. One of the cost issues involved with cooking for one is food waste - both in terms of raw ingredients and stored leftovers. I tend to buy only what I can use in the next few days, or that I can freeze - and freezer space is at a premium. I can't take advantage of bulk packaged meat as a rule for that reason - and refrigerated, half of it's going to spoil before I can get around to using it.

I could feed myself for a few dollars a meal were I to choose prepared frozen meals and canned vegetables. I find them lacking in culinary appeal, and so I don't. I probably could not replicate those meals for what I could buy them for. In particular, fresh vegetables and meat are quite expensive by comparison.

Were I feeding myself on a tight budget, I probably would choose to eat frozen prepared foods, ramen, and the like - which are quite inexpensive and adequately nutritious, though not terribly healthy or palatable.

Were I cooking for three or more on a regular basis, I have no doubt I could prepare very palatable meals for less than "cardboard" food. When I'm cooking for myself and my son, I certainly have more options.

Frozen foods save my life all the time. For 2.50 a pop I get a little asian dinner in a cardboard box with the exact number and type of calories I need and at a price you can't beat. That's opposed to the fresh salad, small helping of fruit and small carb helping at the nearby salad bar for 6 to 10.

Don't diss food. Diss fat fucks who don't exercise...like you used to. There are plenty of special interest groups with ideals or products to sell who'd love you to hate Big Food for being over processed or overly greasy. They don't always tell you the truth.

Now excuse me while I prep the French Onion soup mix burgers we're gonna grill caveman style. With mixed veggies and cut watermelon and a grilled Vidalia onion. (Cut into a flower - connected quarters - pack slits with salt, butter, pepper and garlic powder. Wrap in foil. Stick on grill until soft, melting, and each petal falls apart almost before it hits your mouth. Then thank me silently.)

Gonna be hard finding veggies that were available to "cavemen". Meat too, really. Amusingly, of the three things offered - grains are probably one of the first things available to "cavemen".

Not the grains we eat today, however. Sorghum would be one of the closet choices to consider.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

You also get 5k mg of sodium.

I'm still dissing fat fucks who don't exercise, but what you eat plays just as large a roll as what you do.
