The Last Movie You Watched

I just saw Kubo, and it was excellent. Very serious for an animated movie, but such a wonderful story, it held my 70 year old father, me, and my 9 year old daughter's attention for the entirety.
Beutifully animated and scored, it didn't feel like big Hollywood, it felt really like an authentic Japanese fairy tale.

The characters get 8 out of 10 The effects and overall look of the film gets a 10 out of 10. How fuckable Harley Quinn looks gets 10 out of 10. The actual plot is around 3 out of 10. It's slow, unrealistic even considering you're dealing with the comic book world. Aside from looking really good in shorts I don't get why Harley Quinn is there in this team, even with the powers of the other members of the team it's still not believable they would have defeated the foe they end up fighting. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Star Trek Beyond. More like Star Trek Beyond Incomprehensible. Still better than the last one, though.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
