Halloween (2018). Reboot, again. Michael has been confined for forty years. But it's Halloween! Jamie Lee plays Laurie Strode, an embarrassment to her daughter and granddaughter. She's just plain crazy. OR IS SHE!!!!

We watched it in an otherwise empty theater, not surprising on Wed. night. If you like to MST3K your movies I recommend watching this one on cable or Pirate's Bay.

Fifth Element

Plot:
Every 500 years evil comes. To defeat the evil you gather the 4 elements (fire, wind, earth, water) ,contained within some magic stones, around an all powerful 5th element, which will shoot out "The divine light" and destroy the evil. At some point in a sci-fi future, the evil has returned again, and it's up to an ex-armed forces taxi driver to save the world.

Thoughts:
WELL, this is one of my favourite movies. It's great. I really can't put into words why I even like it that much, I just think it has everything in a perfect balance. The cinematography, the music, the designs of the aliens......everything. It's funny, it's got action, it's serious. What else isn't there to like about it? I bloody well love it.

Quite a fun film. Would have been better if Milla Jovovich had worn the thermal bandages through more of it, though.  Woof.

Went to the cinema and watched First Man. I really enjoyed it. A fantastic movie that has to be viewed on the big screen, or IMAX if possible.
