Beast, that was one weird psychological journey of a movie.

Nope, not watching this movie. Really bad acting from the start.

Nope to this one, too.

Maybe The Winter Lake will be better.
Quote:When Holly's dark secret is accidentally uncovered by her new emotionally unstable neighbor Tom, they are pulled into a violent confrontation with her father, who will do anything to keep the secret hidden.

Okay, this one I can stick with watching. Third time's a charm and all that.

I watched this with a friend of mine while we had supper a few nights ago. Surprisingly, he never saw it before.

Re-watched ‘The Green Mile’. Still a terrific piece of work, even in spite of that massive, glaring plot hole.

The one behind Rita Hayworth?

Ah.

The plot hole in ‘The Green Mile’ is that a black man in 1930s Louisiana who was found cradling the raped and murdered bodies of two little white girls would have lived long enough to make it to death row. He either would have been lynched on the spot or shot ‘trying to escape’.

And the only King book I’ve ever managed to get through was ‘Eyes Of The Dragon’.

That is a fun one.

I have read most of SKs books - including then unabridged The Stand.... The whole Gunslinger' s series several times... Least favorite - Bag of Bones.

And John Coffey being brought in alive isn' t a plot hole - it' s a plot DEVICE - a totally unlikely thing- much like his healing by laying of hands - that is necessary for the story to proceed.

Without it - it would be a rather short book
