Fucking Cops
|
If someone asks you about dirty cops, the right way to respond is to say it's horrible, and will be corrected as quickly as possible. Then follow through on that statement. Even if it's just a minority of cops, and over half of them can actually be trusted, it can be hard to tell that on sight. The uniform is supposed to stand for someone who you can depend on, but how can any non white person trust you when you migth shoot them for the smallest things? Or die in a cell if they don't do whatever they can to get away from you?
Running can get you killed. Going with them might get you killed. It reminds me of when a neighbor's brother thought he was being spied on, and he asked me for help. I said I'd call the police, and he said that wouldn't be a good idea.

My mother actually brought up the BLM group that's been going around. I told her I didn't know much about it, but it was mostly about the fact that cops have been killing unarmed black people. She seemed to be more interested in talking about black civilians killing other black civilians, or blacks killing cops. I told her that's kind of a different topic, so I don't really know what she was trying to get at. As if one problem invalidates the other.

Yeah, that's about it Chad. Why shouldn't the cops gun them down if they gun each other down?
Like this hero. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/virginia...-shooting/ Quote:Virginia cop indicted for murder in fatal shooting of William Chapman II He obviously pissed someone off so they didn't queer the grand jury like normal. This guy is lucky he didn't get killed for having a medical seizure. https://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/autisti...he-ground/ Quote:Autistic, legally-blind Minnesota teen suffers seizures after cops slam him to the ground And this guy would have had a fine career in "law enforcement." Quote:Massachusetts cop will be fired after lying about road shooting that prompted manhunt He's not even a cop yet and he knew about the I feared for my life, horseshit. Yeah....fine examples, Gawd. You were saying?
What exactly do you think I was a saying?
I think you are saying that because some cops are not scumbags we should not hold any of them accountable for their actions. And I disagree.
Let's take this example. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/driving-...om-mirror/ Quote:Driving while fresh: Black man pulled over by Rhode Island cop for air freshener dangling from mirror Quote:After handing back the paperwork, Murphy points toward the car’s windshield and says, “You can’t have this obstructing your view.” Have you ever been pulled over for having an air freshener on your mirror? I haven't. Have you been pulled over for a broken tail light or brake light? I haven't...although one time a cop did pull up next to me at a light and wave as he lowered his window. I lowered mine and he said, pleasantly, "your left brake light is out." I thanked him and bought a replacement bulb. Funny. No gunfire involved! But then, I'm white.
Here's another gem...and we have to learn about it from The Guardian.
http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/2000-cas...veillance/ Quote:2,000 cases may be overturned because police used secret Stingray surveillance Quote:More than 2,000 cases could be overturned in Baltimore as the first motion for a retrial is filed accusing the state’s attorney’s office and the police of “deliberate and wilful misrepresentation” of the use of the secret surveillance equipment known as Stingrays. Quote:“It shocks the conscience that a police commissioner and an elected State’s Attorney would conspire to commit obstruction of justice unless the FBI told them they could disclose,” Insley told the Guardian. No, that's where you're wrong. In 'Murrica, nothing shocks the conscience any more. |
