Hold them accountable for their actions. Fire them when they fuck up. Try them just like any other citizen when they apparently commit a crime. Why is that so much to ask?

That's already being done, you don't want to believe that because your mind is already made up and you probably hate cops, the very people you would run to when your life is threatened.

If you read many of the stories it seems many who do break the laws aren't being held accountable.

Asking for the cases, many of which Min has clearly illustrated here, to actually be treated and investigated properly is not hatred, despite how some people would like to paint such things.

They use the "hater" name as a way of silencing those who don't agree with them.

Ok you know it all, so what should we do ?.

Enforce the law. The offer who killed Eric Garner did so with a choke-hold that NYC officers have been forbidden from using. Which means he was not following protocol and a man is dead, yet he will not answer for it. If an officer injures or kills a person because he did not follow proper procedure, he should be punished. You don't need to be a know-it-all to understand the importance of making sure that the people who enforce the law are obeying it themselves.

I believe they are doing the right thing, its just that there is more to it than a black and white solution, and you wouldn't know all the fine details.

The case, FOR INSTANCE, where a New York city cop applied an illegal choke hold on a man, ON VIDEO, but will not face charges. That does not *appear* inadequately investigated, that IS inadequately investigated AND ignoring evidence of a crime.
