Officials said on Tuesday that the Grosse Pointe Park Police Department was investigating a video showing officers beating a handcuffed suspect.

According to the Detroit News, the video was shot and posted to the Internet on Monday while officers from Grosse Pointe Park and the Detroit Police Department conducted a joint task force operation.

As the video begins, the suspect already appears to be handcuffed face down on a snowy sidewalk. One officer is on top of the suspect, while another officer kicks him.

And don't call jesus cause that fucker ain't going to help you. Call the ACLU.

Albuquerque bars DA from latest shooting case after she files murder charges against cops

The day after a New Mexico prosecutor charged two police officers in the shooting death of a mentally ill homeless man last year, Albuquerque officials refused to allow representatives from the District Attorney’s office to participate in the investigation of a new officer-involved shooting that occurred on Tuesday.

According to KRQE, Chief Deputy District Attorney Sylvia Martinez was barred from a briefing about a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening because, she was told, the District Attorney’s office “has a conflict of interest because we charged the officers” who shot the homeless man last year.

The governor and/or feds need to step in and re-assert civilian control of these thugs.

Florida police department uses black men’s mugshots for target practice

A Florida National Guardswoman was alarmed to discover her brother’s mugshot riddled with bullets at a shooting range where police officers had been taking target practice.

Sgt. Valerie Deant, who plays clarinet with the Florida Army National Guard’s 13th Army Band, said her brother was among several photos — all of black suspects — used during shooting drills by North Miami Beach police officers, reported WTVJ-TV.

The officers believed the man was carrying a weapon of some sort, Alvarado said.

Alvarado said the officers felt threatened and fired at the man -- one with a handgun and the other with a rifle -- about two minutes after making contact with him.

"Of some sort?" Again we see pussy cops claiming to be "threatened" by a weapon they could not even identify.

As the story shows, there was no indication of what the "weapon" might have been.... if it was anything.
