I don't want my last reply to make it sound as if I blame all of the racial problems in Ferguson on black racism. Racism is both an action and a reaction. Both races should be shamed and pushed into better behavior by fair rational people.
There is an old saying that "to a man with a hammer, the world is a nail." Cops have that hammer and have to use it daily on a large segment of our population. The cops who cover a poor white neighborhood might occasionally beat white innocent people that look like his normal arrest-able segment, and the same could be true for a cop trawling black neighborhoods.
Pretty soon any common denominator begins to look like nails.
I've proposed that beat policemen be forced to work with the public in a non-enforcment manner at least a few days a month in the vain hopes of breaking the psychological tide that every non-cop is simple a future perp.
Of course, budgets would never allow for that, so cops become weirder and weirder people who are so used to bullying people they can't help themselves. This is why they are so well represented in divorce and domestic abuse cases.

I think you are kidding yourself about Wilson. No one knows what happened at the car because only Wilson survived and he has every incentive to lie. But that he got out of the car and chased him down and executed him seems beyond doubt.
Anyway, here's two more heroes who were so terrified by a screw driver that they had to shoot a guy less than 30 seconds after arriving on the scene. These guys had their body cams on but as far as the Dallas DA is concerned, its a good shoot.

Calling the cops seems to end up with the person they are supposed to help being shot dead in far too many cases. I suppose you think that is a satisfactory outcome?

Are you dumb ?, I have already agreed long ago that there are bad cops, but you yourself don't see the good in the force. And of course there are bad politicians and judges, see your so caught up in your hate for cops that you don't even see what I have said, your wearing blinkers, your not seeing the whole picture, where as I do.

And at what point did pointing out improper police conduct equate to meaning that all cops are bad?
Seriously, I'm fed up with you, just repeating again and again that most cops are good, isn't a rebbutal (or even relevant) to this incident or even this thread as a whole.

Is a "good" cop one who keeps silent in the face of abuses by his colleagues? Would you apply that standard to a priest who knows another priest is butt-fucking an altar boy?
I have no doubt that there are cops who would not just blow someone away for the fuck of it. I'm not so sure about cops who would risk reporting or testifying against a cop who did. Can you see even that difference?
