You bring 'God' into everything from the looks of things. You're in an atheist forum, why do you expect us to take that request seriously? Keep in mind, a lot of us do not believe in a god or do not care about 'sins' and thus we use whatever curses and cursing phrases we want. Tell you what - I'll bring my dog round to your house and you teach her about Quantum Theory. On one level this thread promises to be entertaining but on another its one of the most depressing things I have read in a long time. The strange thing is that the best case she has against evolution is actually her own existence. Surely we should have come further than this by now..... Yes, but it's actually difficult to hit so many fundamental misapprehensions in a row. I'm not quick to call poe. I prefer to give some benefit of the doubt. But Jamie is just too blatant to believe. I have to give her credit for achieving some comic effect, though. (July 11, 2013 at 1:17 pm)Psykhronic Wrote: Don't bring Gawd into this? You bring 'God' into everything from the looks of things. And she posted this in the Religion section, I might add.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Fine. Well, I hope you guys are correct in your assumptions no matter how many justifications you guys have to back it up.
If you're wrong we just lost this one from ever speaking to atheists ever. The last forum I was on several years ago a young Christian girl in high school came onto the forum and everyone went apeshit on her just like this. So she bailed. I sent her my personal email address and I had a back and forth, very productive conversation with the girl (with her mom premonitoring my responses first for obvious reasons) where we discussed a lot of things relating to why a person who was raised Christian later turned to Atheism and my justifications for doing so. I think I did more good than everyone on the forums throwing continuous rancorous insults at her.

@jamie_russells,
first off, if you really want to know the answer to your questions, I suggest you read a textbook, something on general science. You'll have to learn some math too, i suggest you start with something around grade 7 or 8. The fact that you posted something like this, in the religion section instead of the general science or life science section, shows that you do not understand that science deals with reality. And religion is just a belief system, that deals with things that are separate from reality. Secondly, it's one thing to discuss new technology/discoveries/theories in science on a forum, it's a completely different thing, to ask questions about facts (especially since this is an atheist forum, not a tutoring service). Because those have been written down in books, and you can just read them, instead of coming to a forum, asking for a speed-up version of high school. And that's how it feels like, every time someone challenges evolution. Because within one post it's clear they haven't read anything on evolution, and the only way we can tell them they're wrong, is to give them an education. And you really shouldn't waste people's time like that. And i do believe you're sincere, but i really do believe that the best way for you is to read a textbook, it'll explain a lot of things much more clearly.
Doesn't know what trollng is.
