Zimmerman verdict: Not Guilty.

*sighs*

Really? Now why did I tell the truth that I did, in fact, take the fall for my buddy? Why did I decide to disclose that fact when telling my story?

Because it didn't matter to what point I was making. Not at all. I told the cop we were doing 30 mph. Which was against my best interest. Now why would I do that? I had everything to lose and nothing to gain by giving that incorrect information.

Because I was confused.

No let's get stuck on some other aspect and COMPLETELY ignore the entire point of the post. Good job. It's like talking to theists about religion. They do the same shit.

It's when, in the face of evidence mounting against you, you continue to stick to your original stance without accepting the new information. This is also called dogma and it's something I think most people here rail against the most when it comes to modern religion.

Yet there's so very many people to are showing it.

Shame.

I mean, seriously, Celt. "You called her a liar!" Yeah. She WAS a liar. She lied under oath.

Here's a suggestion to everyone; try actually learning about the trial and doing so without your preconceptions. Do it with an open mind that Trayvon might have or might have not deserved what happened to him. Do it with an open mind that Zimmerman may or may not have been innocent. Do so with a completely blank mind, read through the evidence and what happened, reading through the transcripts, compare them with the location of the incident, do all of this stuff, and quit being so fucking DOGMATIC. You guys are starting to sound a little too damn close to what religious fundamentalists sound like and the sheer amount of ignorance being displayed? It's starting to actually kinda piss me off because it's coming from individuals I otherwise considered to be open-minded and reasonable and now suddenly you guys are starting to shit all over that.

This matter was settled in a court of law and the man was found not guilty, it's over as far as the laws concerned and the constitution supports this. I do not believe the verdict was correct because, I do not believe the charge was correct, but none of this matters either, the law by which we live prevailed and this is what we must live with, if we want to survive as a nation. I've seen some here who put down the Biblical law of an eye for an eye, but now that it suits them it's okay, double standards do not benefit a nation. IMO if the state had brought the proper charge we would have seen a different out come, but as I said none of it matters now the justice system has spoken. It's good to debate an issue like this but getting angry with each other accomplishes nothing other than greater division, don't you think that's going in the wrong direction.

And what, please tell, would you have rather seen Zimmerman tried for? I keep hearing people make vague allusions to "different charges," and yet nobody ever really suggests one.

Strawman fallacy. Nobody here is stating that Zimmerman is "eternally [truthful]." And then you went on to state that calling a liar a liar is hypocritical.

Oh jesus fuck. Sorry. I'll step back and give you room to keep dancing around in an emotionally-charged fit of non-logic. ._.

Uhm, your pro-Zimmerman dogmatism is getting in the way when you claim that anti-Zimmerman people are being dogmatic.

I wouldn't be so quick to try and preach logic here. I didn't say that calling a liar a liar is hypocritical. I said that calling one liar a liar whilst not calling another liar a liar... that's hypocritical. OK? OK.

Say the words: "Zimmerman is a liar". Go on, you can do it. It isn't as if you're guilty of dogmatism, or anything, is it? Is it?

Zimmerman is a liar. Just like every human that's ever taken breath.

He's still not guilty for Trayvon's death.

Meanwhile, you happily call Trayvon's girlfriend a liar.

Hypocritical much?
You're becoming quite the naive bleeding heart dumbass. I wish you could come to this country for a visit and look me up. I'll take you on a nice tour of the neighborhood I grew up in...and then I'll leave you there by your liberal White dumbass self. You go ahead and tell the Blacks there how liberal you are and how much you understand their struggles...and then if you're able to make it out of the "Hood" with all your teeth intact and with your wallet then come and tell me all about the racism that you actually had first hand experience with.

Zimmerman was found not guilty according to the law...the real liars to emerge from all this are the race baiters like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the radicals on MSLSD news...those are the guys who want to keep stirring the racial pot. Both Jackson and Sharpton seemed to have profited very well from it.

Zimmerman is a liar. Just like every human that's ever taken breath.

He's still not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter.

Fixed.

Tonight is going to be a very bad night to be a police officer in Florida.

Your propagation of racial stereotypes is fueling the fire of divisional hatred. This is a human issue, and not a (race) issue. It is people like you who make comments like the one I quoted you in above who are indirectly responsible for the continuing racism in the world today. DROP THE RACE CRAP ALREADY. It was a human tragedy - NOT a race issue (until people like you make it into one). Violin

So are you saying that blacks are violent thieves? That's what it sounds like. YOU are the racist. Knock off your racist comments "Theist" christian, your "love" is showing.

Seems like you're not quite liberated from fallacy yet. Your naivety is showing.
