I dunno about this one. I mean, I'm not trying to defend anything the nazis did during world war 2, but the war ended nearly 70 years ago. Whoever they find is gonna be pushing 90, with so many neurological problems that he probably doesn't even remember what happened last week let alone something from 1945.

They'll get it anyway. As said by someone earlier, it has been 70 years and everyone involved is either dead or very close to it. We really have a lot more important things to be devoting resources to right now. Let nature take care of whatever great-grandpa nazis are left.

"Just following orders" was not a defense of doing something totally heinous, but it's kind of hard to see why someone who was a young soldier, say being ordered to guard a concentration camp while knowing that disagreeing with that duty would result in punishment, should be prosecuted for war crimes.
