The RCC's latest scam
#11
RE: The RCC's latest scam
This is some serious shit. Just some time ago I read some Cardinal on a newspaper saying there was no Purgatory.

But some people still believe in that fucking big mountain that should stand where America is.

"WHAT IF AMERICA WAS ACTUALLY PURGATORY AND YOU'RE LIVING SHITTY LIVES BECAUSE FUCK YOU YOU CAN'T PROVE ME WRONG I CAN'T HEAR YOU BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH"

Hm.
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

RE: The RCC's latest scam
Jesus to Peter and His diciples: "What sins you forgive, will be forgiven. What sins you say remain, will remain."

To the non-believer it wouldn't make any sense. But, this isn't some magical cure for sin, and time in purgatory.

The RCC can say that we will all go to Heaven! But...we have to go there OURSELVES.

This is an opportunity (and obvious recruitment) for Catholics to: profess the Faith, renounce their sins, and be forgiven.

But, this aint the McDonalds of forgiveness. It has to be earnestly desired on the part of the recipient.

At least this scam is free for the user.

Unless the pope starts a 'donate and get a personal message from the pope' scam...

...actually that's a pretty good scam!
